The current opening is for an Automotive Sales Manager position within Reynolds and Reynolds' consulting team. This role is focused on building strong professional relationships with dealership personnel and customers to identify pain points within dealership operations. The successful candidate will employ proven consulting services and extensive industry knowledge to address these issues, improve business processes, and drive profitable outcomes. A key aspect of the role includes maintaining ongoing relationships with clients after project completion, offering fee-for-service support and continuing problem resolution to ensure sustained success and satisfaction. This is a high-travel position requiring the candidate to travel extensively throughout the week, with overnight stays of up to five nights weekly. The role requires a highly motivated individual who is comfortable working independently while managing multiple client engagements. Job Requirements
- Must be willing to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a valid driver’s license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
- Must have reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s preferred but not required
- 5+ years of relevant automotive dealership experience
Job Qualifications

- 5+ years of automotive dealership experience in sales or management roles
- Experience as sales manager, internet sales manager, or F&I manager
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and consultative sales abilities
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships over time
Job Duties
- Establish professional relationships with automotive dealership customers
- Identify operational challenges within dealerships and recommend consulting solutions
- Utilize industry knowledge to develop tailored consulting programs
- Follow up with customers post-project to ensure satisfaction and continued support
- Drive consulting service sales through trust and proven results
- Travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week
- Provide ongoing fee-for-service support and issue resolution to clients
