With a significant presence in North America, Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, Hertz is one of the largest airport general-use vehicle rental companies globally. The company prides itself on a culture built around integrity, professionalism, transparency, and teamwork, which has cemented its reputation as a trusted and successful organization in the car rental market.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company with a professional work environment that encourages job training and advancement. The position is hourly, offering $16.00 per hour plus eligibility for bonus incentives, which motivates employees to excel in their daily responsibilities and contribute to the company's success.

As part of the fleet management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for controlling the flow of vehicles throughout the dealership and rental lots, executing inventory management tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of vehicle status updates in the fleet computer system. This role is critical in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting sales and rental operations.

Daily duties include lot merchandising, which involves preparing vehicles to be front-line ready by ensuring they have the correct pricing stickers, buyers guides, and frame plates. The candidate will also manage vehicle parking and alignment on the sales lot to maintain a neat and presentable appearance, which is essential to customer experience and dealer aesthetics. Additionally, the role includes responsibility for the overflow lot, managing vehicle shuttling to vendors, assisting with dealer trades, and occasionally helping with customer transportation needs.

Operational support extends to maintaining fuel logs and other reports as requested by the Location Manager, including the proper filing of these documents. This duty supports accurate record-keeping crucial for inventory control and operational audits.

The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver's license, be at least 20 years of age, and demonstrate scheduling flexibility, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift schedules may vary based on operational needs, requiring the ability to adapt to different assignments. Internal candidates are considered if they have satisfactorily completed their probationary period and have excellent attendance and job performance.

Hertz emphasizes a culture of diversity and inclusion, encouraging applicants of all backgrounds to join its workforce.
