The role available is for a Salesperson whose primary mission is to maximize and support 100 percent of all inbound opportunities, including showroom visits, phone inquiries, internet leads, and outbound efforts such as follow-up on sold and unsold vehicles, prospecting, and service-related opportunities. This role demands an individual with excellent people skills who can represent the dealership’s image positively through daily interactions. The Salesperson will actively engage with customers by assessing their needs, presenting appropriate vehicles, facilitating demonstration drives, and managing the sales process from initial contact to vehicle delivery and beyond. Communication with dealership management and various operational teams is also an integral part of the role, ensuring a smooth and successful sales experience for both the customer and the company. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and driven to achieve sales targets while upholding the dealership’s high standards and policies. Job Duties
- Work a daily business plan and communicate with incoming traffic/calls
- follow up on phone inquiries
- conduct sold and orphan follow-ups
- manage service follow-ups
- send letters such as thank you, holiday, and birthday notes
- update business plans and client cards
- use eLead CRM to manage and measure lead activity
- leverage auto responders, personalized email templates, and phone guides to drive appointments and sales
- manage and measure all lead activity and results
- greet incoming sales opportunities
- perform comprehensive needs assessment before selection
- initiate the EMI
- select the right vehicle with the help of the Floor Manager
- present the vehicle based on clients’ needs and wants
- demonstrate vehicles at dealership
- present arithmetic to customers and facilitate paperwork
- deliver vehicle
- sign customer up for first service appointment at delivery
- follow up on unsold prospects
- follow up for no-shows
- follow up on sold customers
- generate referrals and household prospecting
- maintain ongoing customer contact to promote loyalty and retention
- facilitate automated follow-up including sold follow-up, service reminders, vehicle anniversaries, contacts, recalls, referrals and prospecting
- renew contacts to re-sell customer base
- adhere to company policies, procedures and safety standards
- perform other duties as assigned
