The role of Automotive Service Porter / Valet at Corwin Ford of Spokane is a full-time, entry-level position offering excellent pay starting at $16 to $17 per hour, depending on experience, with potential bonuses based on high customer satisfaction scores. This position is vital in maintaining smooth vehicle flow and organization within the fast-paced dealership environment. As a Service Porter / Valet, you will play a key role as a liaison between the Service and Sales Departments, handling a variety of customer service and vehicle-related tasks essential to the daily operations of the dealership. You will greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, park, retrieve, and move vehicles, supervise the busy parking lots, and stage vehicles for pre-delivery inspections. Other responsibilities include assisting with vehicle delivery acceptance, maintaining cleanliness in the service lanes and shops, cleaning cars as needed, and driving a courtesy shuttle when required.
This position does not require prior automotive experience as Corwin Ford provides paid training to help new employees excel in their roles. However, candidates with backgrounds in hospitality, retail, or customer service will find that their skills translate well into this role. A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license are mandatory for this role to ensure safety and reliability. The dealership values candidates who are reliable, energetic, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance. At least 18 years of age, authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and willing to pass pre-employment screening and drug tests are also necessary.
