The Porter role at Gerber Collision & Glass is a vital position that supports the overall repair process by ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for delivery, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shop and office facilities. Working as a Porter, you will contribute directly to the customer experience by pre-washing vehicles before repairs begin and performing thorough interior and exterior cleanups after repairs are completed. In addition to vehicle care, you will maintain the appearance and orderliness of parking lots, sidewalks, and work areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and colleagues.

Job Duties
- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
- Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting countertops and work areas
- Maintain the daily housekeeping of the production area including emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and organizing tools and equipment
- Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
- Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning
- Perform exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
- Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs
