The role of the Porter at Napleton Hyundai is essential to maintaining the clean, organized, and professional appearance of the dealership’s vehicle inventory and facilities. The Porter is responsible for a variety of tasks that support the smooth operation of the dealership, including ensuring that all vehicles on the lot and in the showroom are presentable, clean, and well-maintained. This position requires a reliable and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage responsibilities such as moving vehicles around the lot to meet dealership display standards and assisting with customer deliveries. Additionally, the Porter may be tasked with transporting customers and dealership personnel safely to and from various locations as needed.
This position is not only about vehicle upkeep but also about contributing to the overall customer experience by maintaining a neat and orderly environment that reflects the high standards of the Ed Napleton Automotive Group. The Porter’s role includes assisting with weather-related cleanups, grounds maintenance, and supporting special projects that ensure the dealership’s operations run seamlessly. Job Requirements

- ability to handle machinery safely
- ability to drive a manual and automatic transmission
- valid state driver's license
- ability to operate an automobile
- ability to use hand and power tools
- willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
- 18 years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy

Job Duties
- keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly moving units as directed by the sales/service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
- transporting customers and dealership personnel as needed
- assisting with customer deliveries
- ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
- picking up vehicles from storage and delivering vehicles to storage and other dealerships
- assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
- performing building and grounds maintenance as needed
- completing other functions and special projects as assigned
