Job Requirements
- No degree required
- at least 1 year of driving experience
- valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- must qualify for corporate vehicle insurance
- meet DOT physical and testing requirements
- knowledgeable of DOT and FMCSA rules
- at least 21 years of age
- comply with state, local, and federal transportation regulations
Job Qualifications
- No degree required
- possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record
- must qualify for corporate insurance programs including vehicle insurance
- meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, and other basic computer programs
- communicate basic messages orally and in writing
- follow clear directions and procedures
- work independently with supervision and guidance
Job Duties
- Drive a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents
- physically load company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and other paperwork associated with deliveries
- drive to delivery destinations and physically unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signatures confirming accuracy of deliveries and pick-ups
- make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers
- collect accounts receivable as necessary
- comply with established company policies, procedures and safety regulations
- complete annual training as assigned
- operate in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
- provide excellent customer service during delivery and pick-up of products
- assume other duties as assigned
