Job Description
Enterprise Mobility is a renowned leader in the automotive rental and mobility services industry, known for its comprehensive transportation solutions. Operating through well-established brands such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car, the company has built a vast global network that delivers extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management services. Privately held by the Taylor family of St. Louis, Enterprise Mobility prides itself on managing a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles across more than 9,500 fully staffed neighborhood and airport rental locations in over 90 countries and territories. The company emphasizes convenience, safety, and customer satisfaction, striving to make travel uncomplicated and accessible for its customers worldwide.
We are currently seeking a diligent and responsible individual to join our team as a full-time Automotive Detailer located in Lubbock, Texas. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $15 and a robust benefits package designed to support your health, financial security, and work-life balance. This includes paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a retirement savings plan with 401k matching and profit sharing, employee discounts, and opportunities for training and career development. The position offers a consistent 40-hour workweek, providing a steady and predictable schedule to accommodate personal commitments.
As an Automotive Detailer with Enterprise Mobility, you will play an integral role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and safety that define our brand. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously clean, sanitize, and prepare a variety of vehicles—including cars, trucks, and vans—for customer rentals. This goes beyond basic cleaning to include comprehensive inspections for safety, vehicle damage, and operational integrity. By ensuring that every vehicle meets stringent cleanliness and safety standards, you help protect our customers and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.
Your day-to-day duties will include washing and drying vehicle exteriors, vacuuming and sanitizing interiors, checking and maintaining fluid levels, fuel, tire pressure, and tread depth, and resetting vehicle systems to clear prior customer information. You will also be responsible for identifying any damages or safety concerns and reporting them promptly. Attention to detail is critical, as you will also handle customer items found in vehicles, ensure registration documents are current and accurate, and maintain orderly work areas in compliance with safety protocols.
The schedule for this position is designed to support work-life balance, with Sundays and Mondays off, work hours from 9 am to 6 pm Tuesday through Friday, and a slightly shorter shift on Saturdays starting at 8 am and ending at 3 pm. You will be part of a dynamic team that values professionalism, punctuality, and a commitment to continuous improvement through training and personal development. Enterprise Mobility fosters an inclusive workplace and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, supporting diversity and providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities and veterans.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, physically active, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and looking for stable employment with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth, Enterprise Mobility invites you to apply and become part of a respected industry leader dedicated to excellence in vehicle care and customer service.
