Job Description

Woodhouse Auto Family is a well-established and respected automotive dealership group located in Bellevue, Nebraska. Operating multiple locations and representing a diverse range of 22 renowned automotive brands, Woodhouse Auto Family has earned a reputation for excellence in the car sales industry. The company prides itself on fostering a family-like atmosphere among its employees, focusing on growth, learning, and career advancement. Known for its commitment to employee development, Woodhouse offers comprehensive training programs, mentorship opportunities, and a collaborative environment where every team member’s contributions are valued. The dealership's Mazda location at 7845 Nebraska Drive is currently seeking to hire a full-time Lot Porter/Driver. The position offers a competitive wage of $15-17 per hour with scheduled working hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start or advance their career in the automotive industry with a trusted and growing company.

As a Lot Porter/Driver at Woodhouse Auto Family, the successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the dealership’s sales team and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities include moving, parking, jump-starting, fueling, and unlocking vehicles, as well as parking new inventory and maintaining the lot in an orderly fashion. This includes keeping the lot clean and clear of debris, snow removal, and other necessary maintenance tasks to present a professional image for customers and staff alike. The position not only demands a strong work ethic and attention to detail but also a customer-first attitude since the Lot Porter is often one of the first faces customers see when visiting the dealership. It is a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of automotive sales and potentially grow into a sales role within the company. Maintaining an acceptable driving record is essential, as this role requires driving vehicles on the lot.

Woodhouse Auto Family provides an extensive range of benefits for full-time employees that underline its commitment to workforce well-being and satisfaction. These benefits include comprehensive medical insurance with health savings accounts, dental coverage, vision insurance, life insurance, and both short-term and long-term disability coverage. Additional perks include a retirement savings plan with a company match through a 401K program, paid time off, paid holidays including major federal holidays, bereavement pay, and an employee assistance program. Beyond standard benefits, Woodhouse offers unique rewards like employee referral and customer referral bonuses, employee of the month bonuses, and company-wide appreciation events. Employees also benefit from discounts on vehicles, parts, services, and insurance, alongside opportunities for professional development through tuition assistance and paid manufacturer training programs. This role represents not only a job but a career pathway within a robust and supportive automotive family.
