With a strong national presence across the United States and backed by over $500 million in funding from top healthcare and technology investors, Capsule is positioned to transform the traditional pharmacy model into a more customer-centric and technology-driven service.

Capsule’s innovative approach blends advanced technology with personalized service to improve medication accessibility and adherence for patients across the country. The company’s mission is rooted in creating a pharmacy that is not only highly efficient but also kind and supportive, emphasizing exceptional customer experience. Capsule has cultivated a culture where success comes from a relentless focus on customer needs, ambitious goal-setting, and collaborative teamwork. Employees at Capsule are encouraged to push their limits and contribute their best work in an environment that values responsibility, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The role of Automation Maintenance Technician at Capsule is critical in supporting this mission. Positioned at the forefront of Capsule’s automated pharmacy fulfillment centers, this role involves maintaining and troubleshooting complex automated systems that keep the pharmacy running smoothly. The technician will perform proactive and scheduled maintenance, repair mechanical and electrical systems, and ensure all automated solutions operate at peak efficiency, significantly contributing to Capsule’s high service levels and customer satisfaction.

Candidates for this role will engage with a broad range of equipment, including refrigeration systems, conveyance machinery, robotics, pneumatic elements like diverters and compressors, as well as sensory technologies such as optical sensors and RFID systems. The Automation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for timely interventions to minimize downtime, secure and manage spare parts inventory, and document all maintenance activities accurately. The role also involves ensuring the operational integrity of additional base building systems encompassing minor plumbing, electrical components, security, and access systems.

Ideal candidates will share Capsule’s values of pride in craft, anticipation of team needs, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership. The company fosters an environment where hard work is balanced with enjoyment and team celebrations, encouraging technicians to work efficiently without sacrificing quality. This position requires both technical expertise and a proactive mindset, enabling the candidate to drive continuous performance improvements in Capsule’s automated pharmacy operations.

Capsule offers this role with competitive hourly pay ranging from $29 to $32, aligned with the company’s comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage. The position also provides the unique opportunity to collaborate with leading professionals in healthcare and technology and to contribute to a high-impact mission within a $425 billion pharmacy industry touching 70 percent of Americans monthly.

Capsule values diversity and inclusion, recognizing that a range of perspectives enhances problem-solving and innovation. The company welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and identities, committed to building a pharmacy that truly works for everyone.
