Key responsibilities include manually loading and unloading delivery trucks, verifying the accuracy and condition of parts being delivered or returned, collecting payments, and obtaining signatures to confirm receipt of goods. The role requires adherence to all company policies, federal and state regulations, including Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) rules, ensuring compliance and safety during vehicle operation.
