The Porter role at Gerber Collision & Glass plays a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of customer satisfaction and facility management. This position focuses on ensuring that customer vehicles are impeccably cleaned before delivery and that both the shop and office areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. The Porter supports the overall repair process by assisting with the movement and preparation of vehicles, contributing to the seamless operation of the production floor. Responsibilities include pre-washing vehicles, cleaning interiors and exteriors post-repair, maintaining the cleanliness of parking lots and grounds, and transporting vehicles to sublet locations for specialized repairs.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong multitasking abilities, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining workplace sanitation and safety. The ideal candidate will have some automotive experience along with a commitment to upholding the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan set by the company to enhance customer experience continuously. Gerber Collision & Glass offers competitive hourly compensation commensurate with skills, experience, and education, ranging from $15 to $17 per hour.
