Groome Transportation is currently hiring an Auto Detailer for its Fort Collins location. This role is instrumental in maintaining the pristine condition of the company’s fleet of vehicles, ensuring that each vehicle is clean, functional, and ready to deliver a great passenger experience. The Auto Detailer will be responsible for a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, including washing exteriors, cleaning windows and dashboards, vacuuming interiors, and organizing seat belts for a professional appearance. Additional duties include fueling vehicles when applicable, completing daily checklists, assisting with vehicle logistics on the lot, and maintaining fluid levels and tire pressures. The role also involves maintaining inventory of detailing supplies and keeping the property clean and orderly by vacuuming and mopping floors, emptying trash, refilling paper products, and handling outdoor maintenance tasks such as clearing weeds.
This position pays $17 per hour plus tips and requires flexibility to work varied shifts as needed. It is suited for individuals who have 1-2 years of outdoor standing work experience, with prior auto experience considered a plus. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, motivated, and able to work independently while prioritizing tasks effectively. Job Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of background investigation
- Satisfactory completion of drug test
- Satisfactory completion of DOT physical and agilities test for drivers only
- Satisfactory completion of motor vehicle report for drivers only
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years outdoor, standing work experience
- Prior auto experience a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail-oriented, dependable and motivated
- Ability to maintain excellent attendance record
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Job Duties
- Wash exterior of vehicles
- Clean and dry windows inside and outside, leaving no stains or streaks, as well as dashboards
- Vacuum carpets and seats
- Place seat belts in order for a professional appearance
- Fuel vehicle prior to washing when applicable
- Complete daily checklist when applicable
- Assist operations in moving vehicles around lot when applicable
- Maintain fluid levels and tire pressure in detailed vehicles when applicable
- Notify management of any vehicles missing safety equipment or with operational issues
- Maintain inventory of detailing supplies
- Vacuum and mop floors in lobby, restroom, reservation area, and main office area each shift
- Empty trash receptacles at the end of the shift
- Refill paper products in restrooms as needed
- Pick up trash and debris
- Clear weeds from property
- Work varied shifts as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
