Additionally, the FOH Lead will support inventory control and purchasing duties, assist with point of sale operations, and uphold compliance with state regulations such as the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) policies. - ability to safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts

- ability to frequently be exposed to wet and cold conditions
- ability to occasionally reach overhead and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climbing stairs, pivoting, twisting, pushing, pulling, and fine motor movements
- ability to demonstrate lifting of 50 lbs and managing in excess of 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant leadership
- experience in an H-E-B restaurant preferred
- experience with restaurant Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred
- basic culinary knowledge
- understanding of nutrition values and ingredients preferred
- expert communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- strong reading, writing, and math skills
- strong computer skills including MS Office and internet

Job Duties
- Provides work direction
- directly supervises Partners
- serves as conduit of communication for management
- trains Partners on customer service, compliance, food safety, sanitation, equipment operation
- works with manager at peak times
- performs closing responsibilities when needed
- may serve as backup to Manager
- assists in inventory control and purchasing duties
- performs front of house service duties as needed
- provides superior customer service
- promotes a safe environment for all guests through responsible serving
- answers customer questions
- assists with menu and beverage selections including alcoholic beverages
- provides detailed information of menu items and specials, beer and wine
- addresses complaints
- resolves problems for guests and Partners in a way that builds strong relationships
- merchandises products effectively
- uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales
- performs front of house Partner duties frequently
- performs back of house duties proficiently as needed including food preparation, plating, and ingredient ordering
- ensures compliance with TABC regulations
- ensures compliance with department and Store standard operating procedures
- ensures logs are completed for area of responsibility such as temperature and 86 logs
- ensures cleanliness and sanitation of sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment
