Job Description
Chili's is a renowned casual dining restaurant chain that was founded in Dallas, Texas in 1975. Over the decades, it has earned a solid reputation as the go-to destination for Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, full-on fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas. Chili's is deeply rooted in a culture of hospitality, service, and community engagement, which forms the cornerstone of its operations and brand identity. The company is dedicated to providing a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for every guest, every day. Chili's commitment to excellence extends beyond just great food; it fosters a lively and fun atmosphere where guests and team members alike can connect and thrive.
This hospitality-driven company prides itself on having a work environment that is both dynamic and fun, where teamwork is highly valued and recognized. The management team at Chili's plays a pivotal role in maintaining this culture by leading, motivating, and nurturing team members to deliver top-notch service and meet financial and operational goals.
The Manager role at Chili's is designed for individuals wired for hospitality—those passionate about people who possess the ability to make guests and team members feel valued and special. Managers act as the critical link between front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring that every shift runs smoothly with high energy and exemplary service standards. They are entrusted with the responsibility to uphold Chili’s operational and quality standards, ensuring guests have memorable experiences while achieving key business objectives.
This role requires a well-rounded leader who is as committed to developing team members as they are to driving business results. A Chili's Manager influences team member behavior by championing restaurant initiatives and fostering open communication between staff and management. They must lead with both heart and mind, exercising self-reflection, vulnerability, and accountability. By doing so, the Manager creates an environment that supports growth, open dialogue, and shared success.
One of the essential functions of this position is cost control using Chili's established systems while ensuring that safety standards are rigorously maintained. The Manager is also responsible for hiring, training, retaining, and developing team members, preparing them for larger responsibilities within the restaurant. Relationship-building is key, not only with guests inside the restaurant but within the local community, positioning Chili's as an active and trusted neighborhood establishment.
In summary, the Chili's Manager is a multifaceted leadership role in the hospitality sector that combines operational excellence, leadership development, guest experience enhancement, and financial stewardship within a culture known for its vibrancy and fun. This is an excellent opportunity for driven, dependable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to teamwork and hospitality excellence.
