The Auric Room Line Cook role is a key position within the ranch's evening culinary team. This position focuses on crafting exceptional dining experiences within one of Lone Mountain Ranch’s most refined dining settings. Working side by side with a team of talented culinary professionals, the line cook is responsible for preparing and presenting dishes that highlight high-quality ingredients and refined cooking techniques. The role demands a passion for the culinary arts, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and a dedication to providing consistently high standard meals. The Auric Room Line Cook plays a vital part in upholding the ranch’s commitment to hospitality and quality, directly contributing to the memorable experiences enjoyed by guests during their stay. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous culinary experience preferred
  • Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Teamwork-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience in a restaurant, resort, or upscale dining environment preferred
  • Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of culinary techniques
  • Passion for food, hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a fast-paced service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional culinary team
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and develop culinary skills
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute menu items with consistency, precision, and attention to presentation
  • Maintain organized, well-stocked stations to support efficient evening service
  • Assist with daily preparation and production to ensure ingredients are fresh and service-ready
  • Follow recipes, portion standards, and cooking techniques to maintain quality and consistency
  • Work collaboratively with culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Monitor food quality, temperatures, and presentation throughout service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Assist with closing duties, cleaning procedures, and preparation for future service periods
  • Support a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement
