Job Requirements
- college degree
- 2+ years experience with direct sales and business development
- excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- ability to communicate effectively across all levels internally and externally
- prior experience in arts, entertainment, non-profit sectors preferred
- familiarity with program book ad sales
- experience with CRM software or sales tracking systems
- ability to work well in dynamic and fast-paced team environment
- availability for occasional nights and weekends

Job Duties
- create and execute strategies to develop and pursue leads, maximize sales, and increase revenue for patron orders of 10+ guests
- actively research, identify, initiate and implement new sales opportunities including senior communities, tourism industry, local businesses, corporations, churches, non-profit organizations, special affiliation groups, local Chambers
- continue to cultivate and grow existing patron base, as well as re-engage lapsed patrons
- develop marketing messaging and materials to engage event leaders, key audience segments and new audiences
- collaborate with the DSA’s Development team to engage corporate sponsors and partners in order to increase employee engagement and attendance
- manage and support the Audience Development and Direct Sales Coordinator focused on renewal of existing large sales clients and coordination and processing of orders
- plan, coordinate, and oversee auxiliary activities associated with group visits such as receptions, tours, meet and greet opportunities
- coordinate all aspects of concert/event enhancements for patron orders of 10+ tickets including receptions, Q&As, meet and greets and building tours
- oversee program book ad sales including managing existing relationships and building new ones
- coordinate with clients and DSA’s Creative Services team to ensure effective fulfillment of program book ads
- work collaboratively with the Marketing & Guest Services team to create special promotional activities, grassroots efforts, and ticket programs driving audience development and engagement
- serve as a representative of the DSO attending networking events in Dallas-Fort Worth
