Job Duties
- Wash vehicle exterior
- clean interior and exterior windows
- wipe down doorjambs
- vacuum interior of vehicles
- clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment
- inspect vehicles for dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and mechanical issues
- use proper protection when handling cleaning products
- fill vehicle with fuel
- apply dressing on tires and tire wells
- maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean condition
- keep work area neat and clean
- use buffer to detail vehicles
- report safety issues to management
- empty garbage
- open and close the lot
- keep service drive clear and clean
- clean customer lounge and coffee area
- maintain appearance of entire lot
- operate tools and equipment safely
- park vehicles according to policy
- assist sales and service staff moving vehicles
- maintain key tags and window stickers
- drive vehicles to other dealerships or vendors
- pick up or deliver customers using dealership vehicles
- complete additional tasks as directed
