At the El Mirage Auction location situated at 13500 West Olive Avenue, El Mirage, Arizona, CarMax is seeking an Auction Services Associate to join their team. This position is critical to ensuring the smooth operation and quality control of the vehicle inventory at the auction site. The Auction Services Associate takes on a multifaceted role involving zone maintenance, vehicle preparation, vehicle receiving, inventory scanning, reconciliation, and asset protection. This role is designed to maintain the quality and security of sellable vehicles, which directly impacts CarMax’s overall reputation and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate for this position will be dedicated to delivering exceptional service both internally to associates and externally to customers. Their responsibilities include organizing vehicle zones and parking areas to maximize operational efficiency, tracking incoming and outgoing vehicle inventory meticulously, and preparing vehicles for sale or auction by pairing locators, securing keys, and capturing vehicle photos. Additionally, they assist with auction operations, helping coordinate activities that ensure a seamless auction experience. The associate also plays a supportive role by contributing to new team member training and upholding CarMax’s Environmental, Health, and Safety standards to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

This role requires a candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while handling multiple tasks efficiently. The work schedule is flexible and may include nights, weekends, holidays, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
