The Bartender plays a critical role in enhancing the guest experience through efficient and friendly service, adherence to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service, and maintenance of a clean and organized workspace. Bartenders at Regal must be of legal age (21 years or older) and complete all mandatory training and certification requirements, including the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training and any relevant local or state permits. The job involves preparing a variety of alcoholic drinks according to company standards, promoting current specials and loyalty programs, handling cash and inventory accurately, and adhering to all food safety, legal, and company policies. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • completion of all legally required state or local training and possession of required certificates
  • completion of the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University
  • ability to perform essential physical demands such as standing, walking, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing
  • ability to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds
  • knowledge and compliance with all local, state and federal food safety laws
  • adherence to dress code
  • understanding of opening, closing, emergency and robbery procedures
  • reliability and consistent attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent if not currently a high school student
  • completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as a concessionist or progress towards completion required
  • possession of good public speaking skills
  • ability to listen effectively and respond clearly and directly
  • ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors
  • skills in identifying problems, gathering relevant data, evaluating information, and reaching conclusions
  • excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers and management
  • ability to establish goals, budget time and set priorities

Job Duties

  • Preparation of all alcoholic beverages as per company directions
  • knowledge of and adherence to all laws and legal obligations regarding the serving of alcohol
