Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous housekeeping experience desirable
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and move equipment
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow safety guidelines and hotel policies
  • punctuality and reliability
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift at least 25 lbs safely

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
  • work as a team to accomplish the goal of hotel cleanliness
  • keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
  • proper utilization of equipment supplies and guest amenities
  • thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
  • daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following the standards set forth in the Green Program
  • practice safety standards and be aware of safety hazards and properly reporting as found
  • respect for guests' property
  • responsible care of equipment
  • reports to work on time and according to posted schedule
  • remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers
  • perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor
