The role of Bar Glass Collector at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is crucial in supporting the beverage operations under the supervision of the Assistant Beverage Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining appropriate levels of clean glassware and ensuring that the bar areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. The Bar Glass Collector plays an essential role in enhancing customer service by making sure that glassware supply is never interrupted during peak service times. Additional responsibilities involve operating automatic dishwashing machines, stacking and polishing glassware, and returning items to the correct locations. The candidate must possess a strong knowledge of sanitation practices and comply with food and beverage department regulations. Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment is paramount. The Bar Glass Collector will also contribute to positive public and employee relations by promoting a courteous and professional attitude.
This position requires physical stamina to frequently stand, walk, handle objects, and lift up to 50 pounds. The work environment may be noisy and include exposure to second-hand smoke given the casino setting.
