The role of the Banquet Beverage Attendant at The Venetian Resort is a vital position within the hospitality team, responsible for ensuring guests enjoy their beverage service responsibly and courteously. Job Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to obtain Health card, Alcohol Awareness card, and valid non-gaming registration
  • Provide legible communication
  • Compute basic mathematical calculations
  • Perform job duties with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Prioritize and organize tasks effectively
  • Remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment
  • Follow directions thoroughly
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel data
  • Available for varied shifts including weekends and holidays

  • Access all areas of the facility and stand, stretch, bend, kneel without restriction

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of experience as a barback, food busser, or hotel steward
  • Ability to obtain Health card, Alcohol Awareness card, and valid non-gaming registration
  • Clear communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Excellent professional presentation and grooming
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information

Job Duties

  • Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly and courteously
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • Be knowledgeable about hotel services, local attractions, and activities to respond accurately to guest inquiries
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring satisfaction
  • Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas
  • Stock and maintain liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic beverages, and glassware on banquet bars
  • Abide by state liquor laws and regulations prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated persons
