Job Requirements
- must be at least eighteen years of age
- previous experience in maintenance or building upkeep preferred
- basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation agents
- ability to handle cleaning equipment including floor buffing machines
- ability to work outdoors and perform manual labor
- ability to communicate effectively with the public
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in building maintenance or related activities preferred
- knowledge of cleaning agents used in indoor sanitation
- ability to operate maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- ability to perform manual labor
- ability to respond to routine public inquiries
Job Duties
- maintains clean and orderly restrooms and facilities reserved for visitors
- maintains recreational equipment and other public supplies
- makes simple reports of attendance and materials distributed
- operates, cleans and maintains heating equipment when assigned
- removes litter and trash on grounds immediately outside park buildings daily
- responds immediately to hazards such as broken glass or slippery spills
- cleans grounds as needed
