Job Requirements
- Ability to move around freely in a building, including navigating stairs and ramps
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions from supervisors
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to adapt to changes in work assignments and priorities
- Ability to identify and solve problems related to cleanliness and safety
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including occasional nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Clean designated interior building areas, including dusting and wiping down surfaces, sinks, counter tops, desks, chairs, windows, fixtures, and ledges
- Detail clean restrooms
- Clean hard surfaces and carpet floors
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles
- Re-stock supply carts, closets, and designated areas
- Move and set up furniture
- Perform other duties as assigned
