The Sous Chef role at New Realm Brewing Co. plays a pivotal part in maintaining the high-quality food and beverage experience that the brand is celebrated for. This position involves working closely with the Executive Chef and other kitchen staff to oversee all food preparation activities, ensuring that every dish not only meets but exceeds customer expectations in terms of taste, presentation, and consistency. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to remain calm and adaptable under pressure
- Strong attention to detail in a hectic environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused setting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Physical ability to stand walk use hands talk hear taste or smell frequently and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

- Helps in the design of food and drink menu
- Produces high quality plates including both design and taste
- Oversees and supervises kitchen staff
- Assists with menu planning inventory and management of supplies
- Ensures that food is top quality and that kitchen is in good condition
- Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards
- Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance
