The role involves being an essential part of the frontline team responsible for ensuring guests receive exemplary service during their stay. Key responsibilities include managing and distributing requested in-room items such as rollaway beds, refrigerators, extra towels, bathrobes, and complimentary toiletries including toothpaste, razors, and shampoo. The position also requires adept handling and delivery of a variety of guest requests including food items, messages, mail, faxes, packages, flowers, gifts, and various other articles, ensuring timely and courteous service.

In addition to direct guest interactions, the role emphasizes adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, requiring the reporting of maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly. The candidate must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, ensuring personal attire and conduct align with Marriott's standards. Physically, the role demands the ability to perform a variety of tasks — moving, lifting, transporting, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance. It requires the endurance to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform tasks involving reaching, bending, twisting, and navigating confined or elevated spaces.
