Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
- Read and understand employment policies and safety procedures
- Ability to make prompt decisions to address customer needs
- Comfortable collaborating with customers and coworkers
- Meet daily sales goals
- Responsible for opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 25lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb ladders
- Ability to use computers, handheld equipment and process register transactions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with technology and using electronic devices
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Job Duties
- Greet customers with genuine hospitality and start friendly conversations
- Assist customers with Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS) orders and merchandise returns
- Maintain a clean and organized At Your Service area
- Use relevant systems to complete transactions and support store fulfillment
- Promote Macy’s Loyalty program and assist customers with credit accounts
- Recover merchandise and support curbside delivery of BOPS orders
- Support teammates and contribute to achieving daily sales goals
