Job Requirements

  • Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet & connect with customers in a friendly and genuine way
  • recommend products by asking questions to identify customer needs and inspiring purchases
  • offer options and solutions to customers to complete the sale
  • wrap-up the moment to close out the customer’s shopping journey
  • assist customers in all aspects of the total store experience including using devices to shop
  • assist customers in store fulfillment including Buy Online Pickup In Store, be proficient in necessary systems
  • monitor alerts to ensure ready on time completion of BOPS orders
  • conduct customer pick-up including retrieving orders from back-of-house storage
  • demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to drive sales and minimize returns
  • sell gift cards and resolve Macy’s card issues
  • follow store audit policies and procedures
  • adhere to asset protection and inventory control procedures
  • foster an environment of acceptance and respect with colleagues, customers, and communities
