Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- one year of retail experience preferred
- six months of supervisory experience preferred
- ability to frequently walk and stand
- ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel
- ability to handle merchandise and equipment frequently
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 55 pounds occasionally
- ability to climb up to six feet occasionally
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise
- occasional exposure to outside weather
- must have own transportation for bank deposits and meetings

Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service leadership
- greet and assist customers
- operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases
- open and close the store a minimum of two days per week
- assist Store Manager with scheduling employees
- provide training for employees
- conduct safety meetings
- ensure employee compliance with policies and procedures
- manage merchandise including receiving, unpacking, stocking, restocking and rotating
- build merchandise displays
- maintain accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning and paperwork
- assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms
- ensure merchandise presentation follows established practices
- ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, key control, and security practices
- authorize and sign for refunds and overrides
- count register tills
- deposit money in bank
- perform stocking and cashiering functions
- assist with management of the store in the Store Manager's absence
