Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- one year of retail experience
- six months of supervisory experience preferred
- ability to stand and walk frequently
- ability to bend, stoop, kneel frequently
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 55 pounds
- ability to climb using a step ladder
- ability to handle merchandise and equipment such as scanners and pricing guns
- capability to work in a fast-paced and moderately noisy environment
- willingness to work in varying weather conditions occasionally
- ability to drive and provide own transportation for bank deposits and travel
- strong customer service orientation

Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service leadership
- greet and assist customers
- operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases
- open and close the store a minimum of two days per week
- assist Store Manager with employee scheduling and training
- conduct safety meetings
- ensure employee compliance with company policies
- manage merchandise including receiving, unpacking, stocking, and rotating
- maintain accurate inventory levels by controlling damages and markdowns
- assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms
- ensure merchandise presentation aligns with store standards
- maintain financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash control procedures
- authorize and sign refunds and overrides
- count register tills and prepare bank deposits
- perform stocking and cashiering functions
- manage the store in the Store Manager's absence
