The company operates numerous hotels across various locations, offering outstanding guest experiences through dedicated staff and well-maintained facilities. It upholds core values centered around Quality, Integrity, Community, Profitability, and FUN, making it a unique and attractive employer in the hospitality sector.
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team on an hourly basis with overtime eligibility. The hourly wage ranges between $44,822.46 and $56,028.20 annually, and a generous $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered to new hires. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards Concord Hospitality is known for, ensuring guests enjoy exceptional food and beverage experiences within the hotel. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will work closely with both the front-of-house and kitchen teams, helping coordinate daily operations, and driving the service quality that meets and exceeds guests’ expectations.
This position requires a strong leader with the ability to provide professional, friendly service while upholding excellent food quality, optimal pricing, and consistent execution in a well-maintained dining environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in guaranteeing that meals are delivered promptly and with attention to detail in plating, portion sizes, and temperature. In addition to operational responsibilities, this role involves developing strategies to improve cost savings, boost labor retention, and foster associate development, all aligned with the hotel’s financial goals.
Furthermore, the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for staff training and development, ensuring the team is knowledgeable about service sequences and product offerings. Leadership involves daily service education, managing training programs for servers, bussers, hosts, and bartenders, and facilitating ongoing development through seminars and evaluations. Coordination between the food production process and service delivery is crucial, including collaboration with the Chef to uphold the quality and presentation of all food items. The role also encompasses overseeing the selection, pricing, and procurement supervision of liquors and wines.
Financial duties include assisting the Restaurant Manager and/or Food and Beverage Director in setting annual financial targets and budget planning. The manager will also support achieving sales goals by implementing and enhancing marketing plans, optimizing operation standards, and effectively utilizing marketing funds. Vigilant budget management is required, with close monitoring of costs related to sales and payroll. Additionally, the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager supervises all non-supervisory service employees and ensures compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations while fostering excellent customer service practices.
Concord Hospitality offers employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance to support their health and well-being. The company also provides a 401(k) plan with a company match, tuition assistance for further education, discounted hotel stays for associates, and extensive training and career development opportunities to help individuals grow within their careers. Joining Concord means becoming part of a company that values diversity, inclusion, and a positive work environment, aiming to be a great place to work for all. Our commitment to associates and guests alike promotes a unique workplace culture where employees are encouraged to thrive and succeed.
