Within the Mobile, Alabama region, the role of Assistant Food Service Director at Elior Independent School Dining is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced food service professional. Operating primarily onsite, this full-time position is based at UMS - Wright Preparatory School and offers a competitive salary of up to $42,000 per year, depending on experience. The Assistant Food Service Director will support the oversight of culinary functions along with safety, sanitation, and overall operations aimed at delivering high-quality food service programs. This role is essential in maintaining a professional and efficient operation that meets both financial and customer service goals.

The Assistant Food Service Director will be directly involved in recruiting, training, and retaining large teams comprising chefs, cooks, cashiers, baristas, and catering staff. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • At least two years’ foodservice experience
  • Proven track record of financial responsibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
