Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years progressive experience in hospitality or related field
- Supervisory experience required
- Proficiency in Windows and office software
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Willingness to work long hours when needed
- Must adhere to company dress code and grooming standards
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Capacity to handle problem-solving effectively
- Attendance at training and meetings
- Ability to maintain composure and a friendly demeanor under pressure

- Availability to participate in Manager-On-Duty coverage

Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field or a 4-year college degree or a 2-year college degree and 1 or more years of related experience
- Supervisory experience required
- Proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
- Able to work long hours when required
- Capable of medium physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with employees and guests
- Skilled in listening, understanding, and addressing concerns
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Service-oriented and courteous demeanor
- Attendance at all required meetings and trainings
- Participation in Manager-On-Duty coverage as needed
- Regular attendance and adherence to scheduling requirements
- High standards of personal appearance and grooming with nametag wear
- Compliance with company safety standards and regulations
- Productivity-focused mindset with problem identification and resolution skills
- Ability to understand and evaluate complex information

Job Duties
- Ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees
- Respond to guest requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents promptly and courteously
- Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline housekeeping personnel in accordance with company standards
- Maintain scheduled cleaning programs including floor care and hard cleaning
- Assist in maintaining and controlling housekeeping equipment and supplies
- Ensure compliance with corporate Risk Management standards and procedures
- Conduct inventories of guest supplies and cleaning supplies monthly
- Manage large guestroom turns efficiently
- Oversee departmental opening and closing procedures
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring processes
- Develop employee morale and provide training for housekeeping personnel
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily with supervisors
- Assist Director of Housekeeping in VIP room inspections
- Order and maintain pars of housekeeping and laundry supplies
- Monitor guest privacy, security, and special requests
- Handle work orders and coordinate with Engineering
- Conduct pre-shift meetings
- Respond to emergency situations with knowledge of safety data sheets
- Balance and clear room status nightly
- Review employee hours and assist in payroll preparation
- Prepare employee schedules based on forecasts and budgets
- Maintain Purchase Orders, invoices, and accounting practices
- Foster professional relationships and communication
- Implement all company policies and house rules
- Monitor service standards and communication protocols
- Manage large turn days including group check-ins/outs
- Monitor out-of-order and maintenance rooms
- Maintain communication with Guest Services
- Attend and lead weekly staff meetings and training
- Manage Lost and Found procedures and key control
- Focus department on contributing to Guest Service Scores
- Oversee VIP and special guest requests
- Maintain detailed logs and filing systems
- Utilize telephone and computer systems for reporting
- Manage valet laundry processes
- Oversee maintenance and cleaning projects biannually
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction at all times
