The Client Concierge role at Chewy Vet Care is a full-time clinical team member position within the Healthcare Practice Team. This role is pivotal in creating the pet parent WOW experience by acting as the first point of contact in the practice, handling patient intakes, and managing all front-end client interactions with professionalism and empathy. The Client Concierge supports veterinarians, veterinary technicians, assistants, and practice managers by fostering seamless communication and providing stellar customer service. Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, the Client Concierge uses integrated practice management technologies and adheres to standard operating procedures and standards of care to ensure smooth practice operations. Beyond client communication, the role involves responsibilities related to pharmacy handling, inventory communication, workspace cleanliness, and participation in ongoing training and development.

Job Requirements
- standing or walking up to 80 percent per shift
- frequently lift up to 50 to 70 pounds using an optional team lift
- occasionally lift greater than 70 plus pounds using a team lift
- stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel
- 1-2 years working in a customer-focused environment, veterinary preferred
- strong ability to connect with clients and demonstrate empathy and compassion

Job Duties
- focus on embodying the Chewy Vet Care culture to work collaboratively with peers and deliver the pet parent wow experience within the practice
- provide stellar service and communication in addition to supporting veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and practice manager
- handle all patient intakes and provide all front-end client-facing interactions
- apply strong social and communication skills to engage actively with pet parents
- perform customer service skills to assist pet parents with providing medical care to their pet, resolving any issues promptly
- apply integrated technology including proficiency in using the corresponding Practice Information Management System for the role
- understand and follow the practice standard operating procedures and standards of care
- act responsibly given the pharmacy holdings
- assist practice manager with communicating on inventory needs
- clean workspaces after every patient interaction
- participate in self-development courses and required compliance training
- perform related duties and assignments as directed by management
- may be required to work weekends and travel occasionally
