The Veterinarian role at Petco’s Vetco Total Care Full-Service Veterinary Hospitals is a dynamic and immersive position responsible for delivering high-quality veterinary care to a variety of patients. These hospitals are equipped with advanced medical technology, including ultrasound systems, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital radiography (DDXR), supporting veterinarians in providing exceptional care. The role requires a veterinarian who lives and breathes veterinary medicine, capable of handling routine and complex procedures in surgery and dentistry, as well as preventative and diagnostic care. Veterinarians will work alongside a skilled paraprofessional team specializing in areas such as dentistry and nutrition, and will receive support and guidance from medical leadership.

In this full-time, onsite role located in Orem, Utah, the veterinarian is expected to perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat diseases, and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on patient needs. The position demands strong problem-solving skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients, referral hospitals, and fellow staff members.
