The role being offered is for a Chemistry/Biochemistry Analyst responsible for providing or overseeing the analysis, administration, and oversight of standard chemistry and biochemistry policies, programs, and practices. The analyst will perform fundamental professional and technical testing using standard analytical instrumentation and wet chemistry methods, adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures. This role is critical in providing accurate chemical and biochemical analyses to support the company’s mission of improving health and safety outcomes. The analyst is expected to provide thorough reviews and interpretations of testing results, document findings, and offer guidance to staff, management, and functional leaders on related policies and practices. Duties include overseeing or conducting analyses, completing and processing standard forms and reports, and resolving technical and operational problems through ongoing data evaluation and review. Additionally, the analyst participates in project teams, assists with resource coordination, and contributes suggestions to improve departmental efficiency and service quality. Maintaining and calibrating laboratory instruments, applying relevant laws and regulations, and promoting a cooperative and professional workplace environment are also important aspects of the role. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide fundamental analysis using standard analytical instrumentation
- Follow standard operating procedures and methods for testing
- Review, analyze, interpret, and document testing results
- Oversee and process standard chemistry/biochemistry forms and databases
- Provide analysis and counsel on chemistry/biochemistry policies and programs
- Resolve management and employee questions with standard research and feedback
- Analyze trends and present findings and recommendations to management
- Ensure accuracy of tests and results through audits and reviews
- Assist in chemistry/biochemistry project development and management
- Clean, maintain, prepare, and calibrate laboratory equipment and samples
- Interpret and apply department policies, laws, and regulations
- Contribute suggestions to improve departmental efficiency
