Baker Tilly is currently seeking an Associate to join its Private Equity Fund Services team, an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals starting their careers in accounting and finance. The role of the Associate includes responsibilities such as recording daily journal entries, reviewing cash reporting, and helping prepare quarterly and annual reporting packages and financial statements for management approval. The Associate will also be involved in preparing capital calls and distributions, coordinating communications with clients and investors, managing client investor portals, and supporting special projects undertaken by management. This level of engagement ensures that the Associate gains hands-on experience in key accounting functions tailored to private equity funds.

In addition to technical skills, this job requires excellent communication, time management, planning, and problem-solving abilities, as well as strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Knowledge of Investran or other partnership accounting software would be an asset but is not mandatory.

The position reports during Pacific Time Zone hours (PST) and offers a salary range from $71,000 to $100,390, with actual compensation influenced by factors including the applicant's skills, experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, and work arrangements.
