The Associate Operations Manager role at CloudKitchens is a full-time, field-based position located in Boise, ID. This role blends daily on-site responsibilities with occasional remote work and offers a competitive base salary ranging from $54,000 to $64,000 USD. As an Associate Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in overseeing daily operations at one of the cloud kitchen facilities. Your responsibilities include managing and training a dedicated facility team, overseeing scheduling and performance management, and ensuring compliance with cleaning, sanitation, and safety protocols. Additionally, you will lead sales initiatives by conducting facility tours and building relationships with prospective restaurant partners. You will act as the primary point of contact for partners, guiding them through onboarding processes and providing ongoing support to prevent partner churn and extend their lifecycle.

Your daily tasks will involve strategic planning and data analysis, as you contribute to goal setting and manage key performance indicators for the facility. You will also have responsibility for the facility's profit and loss management, understanding key drivers of profitability. Beyond administrative duties, the role includes maintenance and repair oversight, requiring you to conduct routine inspections and audits on essential kitchen equipment, and coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • minimum two years of operations management experience preferred
  • minimum two years of employee or assistant management experience preferred
  • experience in restaurant management preferred
  • experience in property management preferred
  • strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • ability to work in a field-based role in Boise, ID
  • flexible schedule including weekends as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in operations management preferred
  • two years of experience in employee management or assistant management preferred
  • two years of experience in restaurant management preferred
  • two years of experience in property management preferred
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with data analysis and KPI reporting
  • basic knowledge of facility maintenance and repair
  • ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Lead and train a facility team with scheduling, training, and performance management
  • manage order fulfillment and deliver excellent customer service
  • manage janitorial team and uphold cleaning and sanitation protocols ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment fostering teamwork and communication
  • lead facility tours and sales pitches engaging prospective restaurant partners
  • develop and maintain internal relationships and identify value-added opportunities for customers
  • serve as primary contact for restaurant partners, build and maintain trust, and resolve issues
  • oversee onboarding for new partners including permits, online delivery setup, and launch planning
  • manage partner experience to prevent churn and extend lifecycle
  • participate in planning sessions using data for decision making
  • review and report KPI metrics and contribute to goal setting
  • manage and report facility profit and loss understanding key profitability drivers
  • conduct routine inspections and maintenance audits on HVAC, refrigeration, water heaters, and ice machines
  • perform general upkeep and minor repairs
  • coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance
