With a portfolio of iconic brands including Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs Sports, WSS, and atmos, the company stands at the intersection of sport, style, and self-expression. As part of the DICK'S Sporting Goods family, Foot Locker benefits from the expansive reach and resources of a world-class sports company, enabling it to remain agile and ahead of trends in the sports retail industry. The company has cultivated a culture that values passion, community engagement, and the power of sport to inspire and unite.
The associate manager position at Foot Locker is a hybrid role based out of their St. Petersburg office, requiring three days a week in-office presence, typically on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This role primarily focuses on leading and executing the Champs Sports Run Club program, which is one of the fastest-growing marketing platforms for the brand. The Run Club serves not just as an event series but as a fully integrated omni-channel consumer engagement program, blending live events, digital experiences, loyalty initiatives, and retail activations. This exciting position offers a dynamic blend of experiential marketing, consumer culture insight, and cross-functional collaboration with departments such as brand marketing, CRM, social media, e-commerce, loyalty, retail stores, and creative teams.
The Associate Manager of Run Club Programming & Activations will be the driving force behind the tactical execution and growth of the Champs Run Club initiative. This role demands a marketer who is deeply passionate about running and fitness culture with a keen desire to foster authentic consumer connections from event participation through to digital engagement and in-store sales conversion. The candidate will work diligently to coordinate over 50 annual Run Club events, ensuring seamless communication between field teams, retail stores, agency partners, creative teams, and other stakeholders. Besides managing logistics and communications, the position entails monitoring program performance and continuously identifying innovative ways to evolve the platform. There is also an opportunity for select travel to key events where the associate manager will act as an on-the-ground leader, guaranteeing memorable consumer experiences that reinforce brand loyalty and community engagement.
Ideal candidates for this role possess proven project management and organizational skills, an ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities. They should also demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, and familiarity with omni-channel marketing and consumer lifecycle strategies. This role represents an excellent opportunity for marketing professionals who seek to blend their passion for sports culture with innovative experiential marketing in an influential and community-oriented environment. Foot Locker offers a competitive annual salary range of $65,000 to $72,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, well-being, and advancement of its employees. Talented candidates ready to contribute to a brand that shapes the culture of sport and style and values integrity, authenticity, and innovation are encouraged to apply.
