Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of background check
  • Successful completion of drug screen
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Previous management experience in a restaurant or related hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and motivate a team

  • Experience in cost control and inventory management

  • Familiarity with training and development of staff

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations
  • Ensure quality food, sanitation, and customer service standards
  • Supervise all restaurant personnel
  • Perform administrative functions in manager's absence
  • Monitor staffing levels compared to sales volume
  • Circulate during peak meal periods to monitor product and service quality
  • Assist in production of food and beverage items
  • Identify and enhance loyal customer base
  • Report competitors' strengths and weaknesses
  • Implement new menus and promotional programs
  • Monitor controllable costs including food, beverage, labor, supplies, and maintenance
  • Train hourly staff and recommend promotions
  • Participate in discipline and termination processes
  • Coordinate training of assistant managers
  • Promote positive employee morale and minimize staff turnover
  • Guide subordinate activities to maximize productivity and customer flow
