The Department of Athletics at UNCW is a competitive and dynamic unit that sponsors 19 varsity sports and competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the Coastal Athletic Association. The department is committed to gender equity, diversity, and promoting integrity, leadership, sportsmanship, and ethical behavior throughout the campus community. Athletics at UNCW strives to develop successful sports programs while complying with NCAA, CAA, and institutional rules and regulations.

Given the high visibility and operational demands of the position, the ideal candidate will have prior experience with Division I athletic programs, familiarity with NCAA regulations, and proficiency in electronic work order management systems. This full-time position offers a competitive salary that is determined based on competencies, equity, budget, and market considerations.
