As one of the largest players in the heavy civil construction industry, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of infrastructure development that positively impacts communities and the environment.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career in construction business development while working alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects that shape the future of Southern California’s infrastructure. The role is focused on supporting our business development efforts by identifying new project opportunities, monitoring agency activities, managing event logistics, and assisting with marketing and promotional initiatives. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring our continued success in winning major contracts and expanding the company’s market presence.
The Associate Business Development Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks including monitoring agency websites for upcoming projects, attending and documenting agency board meetings, and maintaining a comprehensive library of Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budgets. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Additionally, the manager will coordinate events and sponsorship opportunities, collaborate with senior staff on marketing materials, and support trade show activities by handling logistics, booth setup, and participant communication.
This position demands strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with agency representatives, marketing teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders regularly. We value a candidate who is highly motivated, resourceful, and capable of working with minimal supervision while meeting strict deadlines. The successful applicant will also demonstrate a commitment to learning company accounting policies and procedures and show flexibility to work occasional evening hours and travel up to 30 percent of the time.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $140,000 per year, reflecting the importance of this role within the organization. Along with a comprehensive compensation package, we provide extensive benefits designed to support your health, well-being, and professional growth. Our company fosters a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion, and we are an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring veterans and individuals with disabilities.
Join us to be part of a winning team that is dedicated to building vital infrastructure and contributing to the safety, sustainability, and prosperity of the communities we serve. This is your chance to develop your expertise in construction business development within a supportive and forward-thinking company that values innovation and employee success.
