The role of Associate Auction Coordinator at Auction.com offers a unique opportunity to be the public face of the company during live auctions traditionally held on courthouse steps. This position involves conducting, co-hosting, and actively participating in these auctions while performing essential tasks to ensure a smooth and successful buying process. The Associate Auction Coordinator not only engages with bidders and clients on-site but also serves as a vital resource by educating customers about auction procedures and best practices, helping to transform bank-owned properties into new homes for families. This role requires multitasking skills and attention to detail to oversee all processes involved in the auction and to maintain the highest levels of professionalism and customer service.

Based around El Paso, Texas, the Associate Auction Coordinator will travel to various auction locations within a two-hour radius and potentially beyond, with travel expenses reimbursed appropriately. The schedule offers flexibility with typically 6 to 12 hours of work per month, fluctuating based on auction assignments and training sessions. Hourly compensation begins at $17.50 during training and progresses to between $20.00 and $30.00 based on skill development, proficiency, and responsibility. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs when needed
  • Ability to stand for long hours and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Can regularly travel up to 2 hours to event locations in personal vehicle
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to perform administrative tasks and attend training
  • Flexibility to work varying hours based on auction schedules

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Tech-savvy with excellent technical troubleshooting abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to adapt quickly and grasp new concepts

  • Prior auction experience appreciated but not required
