This role is for an Associate Account Executive within Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon division, focused on MedTech sales specifically related to clinical sales within hospital systems, located in Seattle, Washington. The position involves expanding the sales footprint of Ethicon’s surgical products by converting competitive products and supporting sales activities in alignment with the regional sales strategy. Ethicon is renowned for over 60 years of surgical innovations, including sutures, staplers, energy devices, trocars, and hemostats, dedicated to revolutionizing surgery with minimally invasive procedures. The Associate Account Executive will have the opportunity to work closely with surgeons and healthcare professionals, providing them with advanced surgical technologies that address serious medical conditions such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.

Candidates will receive comprehensive training to understand and demonstrate the proper use of Ethicon’s products in operating room settings. Additional responsibilities include managing customer product inquiries, addressing objections in line with the company’s sales methodology, delivering sales presentations, and complying with corporate policies and safety standards. The Associate Account Executive will also assist in case coverage by supporting surgeons with strategic platforms and products during surgical procedures.

Johnson & Johnson offers a competitive base salary ranging from $55,000 to $80,000, alongside a robust sales incentive compensation program. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-2 years business experience
  • Ability to travel as necessary including overnight and/or weekend and/or relocate to assigned geography as needed
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States

Job Duties

  • Expand the sales of Ethicon US products and convert competitive products in compliance with company policies
  • Support the aligned Area and Region for all sales-related activities
  • Receive training to understand and demonstrate proper use of products in an operating room
  • Execute the selling cycle professionally, ethically, and concisely leading the customer to action
  • Understand and demonstrate proper preparation and surgical use of all Ethicon products
  • Manage customer product questions and objections consistent with sales training methodology
  • Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods
  • Assist surgeons through strategic platforms and products in operating rooms
  • Comply with safe behavior standards and demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge
  • Conduct business in accordance with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies
