The company thrives on creating innovative medical technologies that transform care and improve patient outcomes globally. With a presence spanning multiple countries and a diversified portfolio, Johnson & Johnson fosters an inclusive and empowering workplace culture grounded in respect, diversity, and dignity for all employees.
The MedTech division of Johnson & Johnson, particularly the Surgery team, focuses on advancing surgical care by integrating biology and technology to develop smarter, less invasive, and highly personalized treatments. This team is dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art surgical technologies to surgeons and healthcare professionals, tackling complex health challenges such as obesity, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. The work environment encourages collaboration, continuous learning, and the pursuit of medical innovations that can save and improve lives.
Within this framework, the role of Ethicon Associate Account Executive based in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a pivotal position in expanding the sales of Ethicon’s surgical products. Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson business unit, has a longstanding history of over 60 years in revolutionizing surgery through the development of sutures, staplers, energy devices, and other advanced surgical tools. This role serves as a launching pad for professionals entering the MedTech sales field, offering comprehensive training and opportunities to develop skills critical to supporting surgical procedures in hospital settings.
The Ethicon Associate Account Executive will focus on expanding product sales and converting competitive products while working closely within assigned regions and areas. The position requires an understanding of product preparation, proper surgical use, and the ability to professionally conduct sales presentations and case coverage in operating rooms. Candidates will be trained to engage healthcare providers effectively, ensuring that they can demonstrate product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries confidently. This role is not only essential for executing sales strategies but also crucial for contributing to improved surgical outcomes through innovative technology.
This professional and dynamic role is designed for individuals holding a bachelor’s degree and possessing up to two years of business experience. The role requires flexibility in travel and potential relocation to assigned geographies, and a valid U.S. driver’s license is mandatory. Candidates with a background in life sciences, medicine, or business are preferred, along with those who have experience in new sales channels and a passion for professional growth. Johnson & Johnson is committed to diversity and inclusion, providing equal opportunity to all candidates and supporting applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
Stepping into this position, the Ethicon Associate Account Executive will engage in a comprehensive recruitment process designed to evaluate skills and alignment with company values, including video interviews, recruiter engagement, and direct interactions with hiring managers. Successful candidates will undergo country-specific pre-employment checks, ensuring compliance and readiness to contribute to Johnson & Johnson’s mission. The benefits of joining Johnson & Johnson extend beyond professional growth, fostering a supportive environment where employees can thrive and make a meaningful impact on global health.
