The role of Fleet Operations Associate at Zipcar is a dynamic and fast-paced position vital to ensuring the satisfaction of Zipcar's members. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $21 and involves working approximately 40 hours a week, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. As a Fleet Operations Associate, you will be a crucial front-line member of the operations team, responsible for maintaining and managing the car fleet that members depend on. Your day-to-day activities will require strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills to maintain efficient operations and update vehicle statuses timely. You will navigate various parts of the city on foot, bike, public transit, or by driving a Zipcar, ensuring that every vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and available for members. Your responsibilities will range from changing tires, filling gas tanks, cleaning vehicles, to coordinating tow services and repairs when necessary. This role demands flexibility and a willingness to work outdoors under varying weather conditions. An acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license are mandatory, as is the capability to carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
