Archer Hotel Napa is currently seeking an Assistant Valet Manager to take a leadership role in managing the daily operations of the valet team and enhancing the guest arrival experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality or valet services preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
- Must adhere to appearance and grooming standards
- Capable of following directions and company policies

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
- Experience in team leadership or supervisory role preferred
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills including payroll and scheduling software
- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards
- Ability to train and motivate team members
- Familiarity with local area and hotel products and services
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
Job Duties
- Organize and oversee daily valet operations ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service
- Delegate tasks to the valet team and inspect completion at the end of each shift
- Provide timely feedback to team members to support performance and development
- Create and maintain staff schedules while adhering to budget guidelines
- Manage payroll processes for the valet team
- Maintain uniforms and name tags including ordering managing inventory and ensuring compliance with appearance standards
- Engage with guests during check-in and check-out in a confident professional and personalized manner
- Monitor staffing levels to ensure appropriate coverage for business demand
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
- Enforce all cash handling and valet tips policies
- Administer counseling and discipline to team members and provide training and recognition to maintain a team-oriented environment
- Assist in recruiting managing training and developing the valet team
- Maintain the valet workstation entrance and lobby areas with high standards and aesthetics
- Comply with hotel security fire regulations and all health and safety policies
- Analyze and generate reports and communicate information to employees and appropriate departments
- Implement changes to improve service and increase operational efficiency
- Assist in any other duties as requested by management
