The Assistant Unit Manager at KFC plays a critical role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager to achieve the restaurant's business objectives by leading, motivating, and managing the team. This position serves as a foundational training role for aspiring leaders within KFC's organizational hierarchy, preparing individuals for future restaurant management roles through hands-on experience and leadership development. The role focuses on ensuring an excellent guest experience by upholding standards of cleanliness, service quality, and food safety. Key responsibilities include partnering with the Restaurant General Manager to monitor performance metrics, communicate business updates, and implement promotions. The Assistant Unit Manager must lead by example, demonstrate high standards of customer service and operational excellence, and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory policies. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service or cashier experience desirable
- proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- regular access to personal vehicle
