Currently, Zen Educate is hiring Para Educators for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This role focuses on supporting students with special needs, primarily assisting classroom teachers and providing tailored help to individual students and small groups. Working with Zen Educate as a Para Educator means engaging directly with special education students to facilitate learning using diverse instructional methods. The position includes responsibilities such as assisting with classroom management, supporting students with personal care tasks like toileting, and reinforcing the teacher’s instruction. This role is offered on both full-time and part-time bases, with a competitive pay range of $22 to $25 per hour. The work schedule consists of Monday through Friday during school hours, between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm, with no weekend work required. Zen Educate also provides weekly pay, paid sick leave, and access to a 401K plan for eligible employees. The position requires physical stamina, including standing and moving around the classroom throughout the day, as well as the ability to assist students with light lifting and quick physical responses when necessary.
